Mailway Packaging Solutions has enhanced its service offering by purchasing the assets of Concept to Consumer Europe Limited.
The Bradford-based contract packer purchased a wide range of packaging machinery, including liquid filling equipment, from Concept to Consumer’s administrator after the Oxfordshire and Nottinghamshire-based contract packer went into liquidation earlier in the year.
Tim Lees, managing director of Mailway, said: “We take great pride in the scope of our service and the fact we are ideally suited for any contract packing project, no matter its size or complexity. Therefore, when the opportunity presented itself to strengthen our core offering, and enhance our recently introduced liquid filling service we didn’t hesitate.”
In addition to its new liquid filling capabilities, Mailway offers a market leading flow-wrapping service, which has the largest capacity of any in the UK, and a broad range of standard packing processes. Meanwhile, its innovative approach has seen it develop bespoke automated lines, offer in-house production facilities and bring new packaging solutions to market.
With its flexible and creative approach to packaging, Mailway is a key link in the product chain for many of its clients – a standing that is underpinned by its ability to turn large volume jobs around in comparatively short timeframes.
