Cash-strapped students are being offered a summer lifeline by an expanding Bradford-based packaging company which needs temporary staff to meet a booming order book.

Mailway Packaging Solutions, based at West Bowling, is looking to recruit up to 50 people to work between June and August to help it meet a surge in summer orders.

Next week the firm will go onto 24-hour working, packing a range of products for clients including a leading international soft drinks manufacturer.

Company bosses expect its operations to be working flat-out throughout the summer months – normally a quiet time.
