Flow-wrapping promotion

Task

To help Taylors of Harrogate, the ethical merchant of fine teas and rare coffees, with a promotional campaign by developing a professional packaging solution.

The idea

By offering a free 45g sample of its Decaffé coffee and a postcard that featured a money-off coupon, Taylors of Harrogate were able to promote its products at exhibitions and shows

Challenge

To turn around thousands of flow-wrapped packs and deliver them to London in just two days.

Solution

Mailway offers a market leading flow-wrapping service, which can easily support any project of any size - none too big or small. With up to 300 people available to work over a 24-hour period, it has the capacity to handle jobs of all sizes, and with the ability to operate 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, it can turn around projects in time frames that simply can’t be matched.

Although flow-wrapping is traditionally associated with food, this is an ideal form of promotional packaging as it’s cost effective and also has great potential to work as an in-pack communications solution.

What you may not know…

Mailway were also the chosen co-packer when Taylors of Harrogate wanted millions of Yorkshire Tea samples, which were then distributed by the national press and via the "request a free sample" option on their website.

You could say Mailway has packaging down to a tea.
